With an arsenal of awesome products that span spending, saving, travel, transfers, investing, exchanging and more, our super app has helped 35+ million customers get more from their money. And we're not done yet.

As we continue our lightning-fast growth, two things are essential to continuing our success: our people and our culture. We've been officially certified as a Great Place to Work™ in recognition of our outstanding employee experience! So far, we have 7,500+ people working around the world, from our great offices or remotely, on our mission. And we're looking for more. We want brilliant people that love building great products, love redefining success, and love turning the complexity of a chaotic world into the simplicity of a beautiful solution.

About The Role

From ID verification automation to facial recognition for account onboarding, our team builds and deploys the systems that require advanced computer vision approaches. As we continue to rapidly expand our customer base globally, the commercial impact of the team also grows. Every step the team automates is a step less that needs to be handled manually, enabling Revolut to scale globally.

We're looking for a Computer Vision Data Scientist to help us better automate these compliance-related processes by developing and producing both online and offline algorithms. If you're skilled in software engineering, machine learning, computer vision, and applied maths, possess a passion for building solutions, and have a strong aptitude for data technologies and advanced computer vision models, then this is your gig!

What You’ll Be Doing

• Working alongside a team of computer vision scientists and engineers

• Owning the projects you develop while benefiting from the support of the wider Computer Vision team

• Architecting and creating new computer vision models to automate our compliance and retail processes

• Working on our Python and PyTorch/TensorFlow stack (we're hosted on GCP and our data scientists and engineers rely heavily on tools like Jupyter and Docker for machine learning solutions)

What You'll Need

• Evidence of strong mathematical and statistics knowledge

• Knowledge of Python 3 with experience in computational libraries, OOP, TDD, multi-processing, etc.

• Working knowledge of SQL (joins, CTEs, functions, etc.)

• Hands-on experience with DL libs (PyTorch/TensorFlow/Keras, ONNX/OpenVino)

• Hands-on experience with CV libs (openCV, pillow, torchvision)

• Working knowledge of version control, model deployment, developer environments, CI/CD, and containerisation

• Working knowledge and experience of cloud-based infrastructure

Nice to have

• Familiarity with HuggingFace, wandb.ai, and paperswithcode

• Strong experience with additional programming languages (e.g. Java)

• Experience in system design and distributed computing

• Up-to-date knowledge of ViT, Diffusion, GPT-4, and RetNets

Building a global financial super app isn’t enough. Our Revoluters are a priority, and that’s why in 2021 we launched our inaugural D&I Framework, designed to help us thrive and grow everyday. We're not just doing this because it's the right thing to do. We’re doing it because we know that seeking out diverse talent and creating an inclusive workplace is the way to create exceptional, innovative products and services for our customers. That’s why we encourage applications from people with diverse backgrounds and experiences to join this multicultural, hard-working team.
